The old homestead, a thousand metres up, with the Koo on one side and the Keisie on the other.

Ou Opstal stands a thousand metres above the sea. From the stoep you look down into two valleys at once, the Koo one way and the Keisie the other.

The main bedroom has its own shower. The loft has two single beds up a steep stair, so it suits kids and younger legs. There’s an indoor braai for winter and a long stoep for the rest of the year.
